I think this is a commical reference using Star Wars terminology to say you should join forces and you could both learn alot from eachother or another way to look at it might be..
He thinks he knows it all and is willing to take you under his wing and educate you on working insurance companies to get help.
Just my two cents for what it is worth. I didn't see anything offensive or two strange.
