I had migraines from the time I was 12 until I was 24. They progressed into CH's. Their is no comparison. Ch's are vertually unbearable. I think that every CH's suffer has thought of suicide as a way to make the CH's end. With migraines, I usually had an aura and felt nausious. The HA, although bad, was manageable and I could find sleep in a quite, dark room. With CH's their is no way a person could fall asleep during one, any more than someone could fall asleep during advanced, natural childbirth. They are pure HELL and no-one can find unmedicated peace until their through. Normally about 1 hour after they start. Also, my CH's are very predictable as to what time they will occur. Mine are at 4PM, 8PM, 10PM, 1AM, 4Am, and 8AM. Just like clockwork for 2 - 3 months, then they are through for another 8 - 10 months. Been like that for 24 years.
