I've been episodic for 30 years. First 20 years was a 4-6 week cluster every 8-9 months. When the cluster was over it disappeared in days. For the past 10 years its been a 12 week cluster every 2 years. My last remission was 2-1/2 years long. The last cluster only lasted for 5 weeks but the shadows stayed for another 5 weeks. When I tried to wean off the verapamil I could feel it coming back so I would go back up on the verap. Like I said, it took 5 weeks to completely get rid of the shadows.
