When does verapamil work?

I'm in the middle of this episode (about a month in and month to go if all goes as "planned"). I just started verapamil at 360 mg/day two days ago. How long should I expect to wait to see a result? And how demonstrable? Thanks. (This board has been invaluable, by the way.)
