I'm also one of those that verapamil doesn't work for. So this time around, they tried a combo with topamax. No success in controlling the CH at all, and I felt like a zombie. New combo seems to working OK, which is a ritalin during the day, and an Indocin before bedtime. I'm getting my nightime CH later in the night, so maybe I'll push it to the days, where daytime prevention might work...
