Hi Todd. Welcome to the 'family'. Sorry you belong, but since the demon has selected you as one of his recipients, you've found the best place on the net to be.

I'm pained that Imitrex hasn't seemed to have worked for you...it's proven to be *almost* universally effective on clusters, but with a few caveats. Which form did you try? Nasal spray, tablets or injections? A fair number of people say the tabs don't work for them but the injections do. That may well be true, but IMHO, it may also be true that they didn't use the tabs early enough. As garyg says in another post, you HAVE to get them early...once the *real* pain starts, it's too late. You need to learn to read your warning signals and risk eating one on what might only be a bad shadow. The injections, from what I'm told and have read here, tend to be a bit more *forgiving*, in that the meds act faster and therefore will bring relief even after onset of actual attack.
Read everything here you can find time and energy to read and hopefully you'll learn some things that will help.
