not sure what Kim/Nancy whoever is trying to say,
but hope they "come down" before tonight

there isn't a "bad moon" scheduled, but a very wonderful, straightforward, scietnifically predictable sky show scheduled:

the moon is currently at the closest point to earth in its orbital swing
the precisely closest approach point,
will coincide with the standard full moon phase-
which is also typically "brighter" this time of year because the atmosphere is typically clearer

what this means is tonight should bring the brightest moonlight any of us have ever seen or will ever see again IF the weather's right wherever you are, and you can get away from urban/suburban light pollution

if there is snowcover, I guess the effect is brathtaking

as I understand it, the cycle for this is on the order of every 130 years
supposedly one of the big Lakota victories was during a night raid in the light of the last time this happened

check it out !
( might as well, we'll all be up with CH attacks anyway !)
