We could have joined the Elks, the Moose Lodge, The Daughters of the American Revolution, Earth First, the Local PTA, the Local Bowling League, the American Legion, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the German-American Bund, the Sons of Italy, the Junior League, the Confederacy, the Organization to Declare the Performance of Rap Music a Federal Crime ( I just made that one up ), Democrats for Wendell Winkie, the Committee to Send Jesse Ventura and Ross Perot to Another Planet, ……………….
