I only used E tanks for a few weeks due to the cost. It seems that the larger the tank the less $/liter my supplier charges. A F tank holds 1780 liters and lasts about 3 times as long as a E tank and doesn't cost all that much more. The next size up that they stock is a M tank that holds 3470 liters. It is still small enough for me to transport but too large to be "portable".

I used to have them deliver H tanks home but their schedule and mine never seemed to match. I do not seem to recall the volume these would hold but they would last a good long time.

Note that all of these tanks take a different regulator than the D and E style tanks also.

PFD&N to ALL!!

Jim
