Hi Chris,
Sorry to hear about your headpain. It is quite unfortunate.
I don't know what to tell you about how to deal with your employer concerning your CH. I have been fortunate enough have worked for people who have been lenient with me all my CH life(23 years)
I do know that you only have to deal with today though as far as your emoyional state goes. Who knows what tomorrow will bring? You can't project how to deal with tomorrow's pain and retain any kind of hope. It would be wise to investigate what avenues are available to your regarding job protection and such, but stay in today with regards to how you are going to live with pain. One day at a time. And sometimes it's one minute at a time.

Now as far as occupations go...I know a fellow named Bob P who works on one of the last remaining chinchilla ranches in California. His job is to skin the poor little things...I guess after he has a headache he gets some kind of morbid satisfaction out of skinning those innocent creatures ALIVE! They love him there and when they know he is in cycle they will feed him a tequilqa/nitro cocktail to induce CH and increase production...
