I think that might be why verapamil stopped working for me. My doctor kept me on it for several years, even between cycles. Now, four times the original dosage does not even put a dent in my clusters.
By the way Mitch, I believe you can expect it to take about a week or two for the verapamil to kick in, if it works for you. Of course you may have a problem figuring out whether it's the Depakote or Verapamil that's getting the job done.
