Hi Ken,
Can't comment on the smell issue but how about taking some Benadryl before bed to work on, and hopefully prevent, the middle of the night congestion? Plus, it should help you sleep
through the night as well. Gary G uses Benadryl with success and apparently, in the States, you can get the alcohol free kind in tablet form.
Just a thought.....
