Ken,I am taking 550 mgs 2 times a day and it is working. My cluster cycle is usually 6 months headaches with 11 months free. I do well with prednisone too but anaprox has less side effects. I have killer cycles. They break through anything else- verapamil, depakote, midrin, prozac... Maybe you can try anaprox too. I heard from my dr. that only 8 shots a month is safe. I do that in a week or less. plus use the tablets for night time headaches combined with oxygen. It is the only relief I get when I have acute attacke- I can't give imitrex up it scares me to think of it.I used to take anaprox for cramps during my period too but I don't remember how much - it was a long time (!0 yrs) ago.Good luck,CK
