For some of us, Verapamil is a miracle drug. I suffer from chronic (ordinary) headaches as well as from episodic clusters. I’ve discovered that Verapamil, in addition to reducing clusters to just shadows, also reduces the chronic headaches to episodic. This means that I can get by with taking a hell of a lot less Excedrin, Tylenol, Ibuprofen, aspirin, Darvocet, Fioricet, and Hydrocodone. And it also controls my borderline high blood pressure.
