What we get can, and for many of us, are in constant flux. Episodic to chronic. Vice-versa. Vice-versa back. Episodics getting them at new times of the year. Attacks switching sides. A useful drug becoming unuseful. New heights of pain. Longer or shorter attacks. Etc .... Frankly, to answer your question about follow up MRIs, not unless a symptom of another affliction may appear.
