Sorry to hear about yer wierd bout with the beast.
I have always gotten a "smell" in my left nostril prior to a CH. It's almost more of a cold/hot sensation than a smell. I guess "metallic" would be a way to describe it. I feel blessed for it because I can get to the meds and O2 in time to stop or lessen it. I don't notice it from then on though. It's only a mild warning sign for me.
Unfortunately its not strong enough to wake me so the "wake-up" CH's are full blown before I can abort them.
