In very rare cases diflucan can cause liver failure. The signs to look out for are yellow skin and eyeballs and pain in the area of your liver. If you experience any of this stop diflucan immediately. But i only took diflucan for seven days at 200mg a day. I was prescribed for 14 days but experienced a slight ache in my side so I stopped. But that was enough I killed the Candida after 7 days..
