They don't leave their curling irons on all day and they don't mind being grounded for weeks at a time. Plus they think their parents are fascinating ALL the time. Some of them even LIKE the vacuum and are always more than willing to "help you clean house".
One last thing, they think farts are funny and that is always an advantage in a clusterhead household.
