Thanks for responding so quickly. At first, 2 months ago, the pains seemed to pulse more right on my temple with EACH pulse, now they are intermittment and sharper like a shock and more painful but still in the same place on or in the left temple. Why would my Dr. just blow it off as a migrain and tell me to take asprin all of the time? I don't seem to have any other symptoms. I don't wake up in the middle of the night with them. They seem to last for 2 -45 minutes. The asprin do seem to help but aren't I just "masking" the pain? What do you think? Should I get a second opinion? I don't understand why this is happening. I have had normal headaches in the past and an occasional "stabbing" pain, but nothing as persistant as this...and for so long! I appreciate your advise-
