I want to try to write a book on peoples experiences from the first cluster headache they experienced until now. I would like to hear everyones experiences, including how they were/are treated by their families, friends, people at work, and healthcare professionals, etc. Tell me everything that you feel might help someone else.

I will never forget the fear and isolation I felt when I started having these headaches. The looks you get at work by co-workers when the headache hits you like a time bomb, the doctors office when you come in during an attack, or at the hospital emergency room. When the pain hits you could have ten family members around you and you will still feel alone. No one knows what the pain is like, except another cluster headache survivor. And believe me, I mean SURVIVOR!

I would like to write this book if I get enough responses. Please let me know what you think of this idea, do you think reading a book about cluster headache sufferers would have made you feel not as alone or would have helped you?
