As to Naratriptan (Amerge, Naramig):
It is probably of no much use once an attack started, as it takes at least half an hour to kick in. But it is great to inhibit attacks that would otherwise occur at a fixed schedule. My attacks are well damped down by Verapamil (560 mg/day) and are easily aborted with O2. However, they still wake me up 1.5 hours after falling asleep. That's here where Naratriptan is useful for me: If I take a tablet (125 mg) just before going to bed, I get a full nights sleep. Sometimes I only take half a tablet, with almost as good results: I wake up after 6 or 7 hours with the starting of a light attack.
