Sonya- I can't say for sure that the palpatations were a result of the prednisone, but you probably got the pneumonia and bronchitis because the prednisone supresses the immune system. Everytime I get my cycle I have gone on prednisone and the doctor knows after 15 years of this that he needs to prescribe an antibiotic right away, because within one week I will have some sort of upper respritory infection. Prednisone has some real nasty side effects, so keep in constant touch with the doc about anything that seems unusual. Take care! Pam
