the pain also radiates down my left shoulder and upper arm towards the end of a particularly intense cluster. I have noticed that the pain seems worse at night or when I'm tired. My pet theory is that the nighttime attacks aren't really any worse-I just can't cope as well because I sleep through the build-up pain and awake during the peak of the attack.
