When I was first put on it, I had a dosage of 30 mg, worked for about a month. After it stopped doing the trick, doctors put me on 50 mg. It did make me tired most of the time, but I got used to it. Now im on pamelor, same family of drugs as elavil. Also does not work... Good luck.
