I occasionally get the squiggly lines the morning after, after a particulerly bad visit from the beast. It starts at the outer corners of both eyes and progresses towards the center untill my field of vision is only straight ahead. Scary stuff when driving but no head pain and it lasts for only a few minutes. The first time it happened it also brought thoughts of stroke but now it's just an "oh well, this will pass too". Funny thing is, for migraine sufferers, this is usually the prelude of a classic migraine.
