I have to do sleeping pills to overcome all the caffine in the cafergot suppositories which i use as a propholactic med. I do think sleeping pills will keep you from waking up at the onset of a headache. My experience is that the quicker I can get out of bed and tackle the beast with O2 or whatever, the chances are better than if I waited until things have progressed to a point where nothing seems to work.
