Or as they said, they examined my head and found nothing! ;-) No, they won't see the beast you described but love the anolgy. MRIs, etc are to rule out any life threatening causes of the HA. Once that is done, guess what? You're a member of the CH club. It wont kill you but there are times that it seems like an alternative. Interestingly, when I had my only MRI in the early 90's after being chronic for several years, I went into remission that very day and was PF for about a 1 1/2 years. Sadly, no one else has reported this happening after an MRI. Coincidence? Guess so. They'll pop some Valium if you're claustrophobic 'cause it's pretty confining. The hardest part for me was the admonition to NOT MOVE for the duration. Of course, my nose developed an incredible itch after about 10 seconds into the thing. Good luck.
