I feel for you - we lost our dearly loved great dane 3 weeks ago - so sudden, like you. I took her to the vet. as she seemed to have a pulled muscle in her leg and it turned out to be bone cancer - he could't even wake her up from the anaesthetic she had for the x-rays. It was awful, so I empathise - we couldn't say goodbye, so I feel. Even as I type this I have tears in my eyes, for you and for my old friend, so believe me, you can cry an ocean of tears. I guess I just am grateful that she chose to be our dog. Kind regards, maggie
