I was very young and maybe foolish but I was desperate not to lose my job and I inhaled oxygen from cutting torch rig in 1975. It cured my headache. I don't know if it hurt me. I have never tried anything like it since but I have heard that pilots with a hangover in WWII used their oxygen masks as a cure for it.
