I've noticed over the past several months that quite a few CH-hosts report the euphoria as the attack releases. I have experienced it numerous times myself.
I have spent the afternoon pondering this and have reduced the idea to this question? Could the brain be seeking the euphoric release when it inflicts the CH-pain? It could happen at a deep primitive level, say around the hypothalmus, where pain and pleasure are atomic.
