There are different kinds of 'addictions'. I'm a whole lot more comfortable being 'addicted' to Imitrex than I would be to, say, barbituates or crack. Nonetheless, no-one truly knows the long-term effects of high usage of Imitrex. Remember how long it took to figure out Thalidomide?

What does this mean? Well, I agree with Jamy, and only hope that Imitrex (and whatever better might come along) is as overall 'benign' as insulin for a diabetic. In the meantime, it behooves all of us to closely monitor our personal reactions to every drug, prescription, OTC or herbal, that we take and communicate clearly, openly and honestly to our doctors.
