Sometimes, the euphoria is so powerful that I nod off. Even if I don’t nod off, I still feel so good that I’m able to go to work after a night of agony. But, as you point out, you get the euphoria only if you don’t take any meds and just tough it out. Given the choice, though, let me have my Verapamil and to hell with the euphoria!
