My headaches started in the late 50's and we didn't have much info re: CH. Therefore, the only thing offered was Tylenol #3, which only proceeded to give me a stomach ache along with my CH.
The great majority of my headaches had to be 8 and 9's, because the one that sent me to the ER was so bad that I knew that I couldn't live much longer with that degree of intolerable pain. I have a high tolerance for pain, had a child without medication of any kind, and crumbled under what I consider a 10 on the Kip scale.
