Imitrex and insurance

Finally found somthing that will abort the beast but the insurance companies dont seem to feel home injections are "necessary" medication. I can have 1 shot kit for every 30 days regardless of how the perscription is writtin by the doctor. The other alternative is to pay a $600.00 co pay and actually get a full Rx. Anyone found a way around this ignorance?
