I am about as country as it gets, and I am not as well educated as some of the people here on the board. I do not understand a lot of things said. I have never been able to spell good either! There have been times that I felt I could not post because I would look dumb to these people. I even when as far as having someone else write a post or letter for me because I did not feel I could get my point across.

I can post and write letters better now! I now have office 97 added to my computer, that has helped me a lot as far as my spelling, and grammar. It takes me a long time to write a post. I still slip up but not as bad. I do my post in word then copy and past to the board.

If there is a post I do not understand and I am interested in, I pull out the old dictionary, or search the web. I have gone as far as printing out the post and looking all the words up and trying to understand it. I have spent an entire day on one post. I get frustrated sometimes, but not at the person that wrote the post at myself for not understanding it. I then email that person and say look I am not as educated as you are and I do not understand your post. I have never had anyone come back and call me dumb. They have all been very nice and in a simpler way explained the post to me.

If it’s over my head and I am interested I research it, and ask for help. If it’s over my head, and I am not interested, I forget about it and go to another post!

I am sure that to the well-educated people on the board my posts can get them frustrated at times. I do not have the gift of words to be able to express myself and get my point across and some of my post and letters have been taken wrong. I am sure some will take this post wrong, but I hope no one does. I hope this helps some.
