Apparently there is a Pearl Script which edits posts as they are being posted. Certain symbols are stripped out. I've noticed that the " and & symbols dont make it to the index page.
It would be nice if the script ran before the preview page rather than between preview and posting, but, eh, I'm sure DJ has enough to do.
