I greatly appreciate your 'call to reality' in reminding me that nounaverberation isn't a recent phenomenon. I'm ashamed to admit that I temporaneously forgotomized this factoid.

I'm also much appreciative of the lesson re: Louisiana law. I'm a bit confused, though. Once a person who has Boyd'd crosses a state line, he or she is no longer in Lousiana, and thus not subject to Lousiana law. Or is it that one can Boyd outside Lousiana and then cross into La. and be in violation?

An interesting aside is that in Alabama, if a man walks in on his wife having sex with another man, he may legally kill the wife. Across the border in Mississippi, in the same situation, he may legally kill the other man. This leads to a requirement for some deep soul searching before deciding whether to move to Alabama or Mississippi. Particularly for wives and men who like to cheat with other men's wives.
