Gary,
Thanks for putting into words, that which I could
not, regarding "missing" the headaches. As I tried
to explain to Bonnie, it's not that I FONDLY miss them
like a friend who moves away or when the kids go to camp.
It's that suddenly, a huge part of what was your "life"
for the last week, or month (or more) is gone.
I cannot say how much I have needed this gathering place.
From reading what many are saying here, I consider myself
"lucky" in that my CH's usually only hit me once a day
(primarily at night) and normally last only about an hour.
As I said in my last post, Imitrex has been a wonder drug for me.
I wish it was cheaper, thus available to more sufferers. It also
sounds like some of us are not helped by Imitrex. My doc has never
mentioned oxygen for me. I think I would like to try it in addition
to the injections.
Hang in there. May the good hours far outweigh the bad ones.
