Mind Activity before Sleep

I can almost guarentee a mid-sleep CH if I work on something really mentally intense and go right to sleep. If I wind-down my brain activity, for say 2 hours, and then go to sleep, the chances of getting a CH go way down. Anyone else have this kind of experience?
