For me, I can't relate to the insurance issue, as I have never had any. When I lived in Michigan and went to the MHNI (Michigan Head-pain & Neurological Institute), all costs came straight out of my pocket. The first day, walking through the door was $1600.00 for all of the testing and stuff. Luckily at the time I had a decent job and had also just sold my parents home, otherwise I would be where I am now : up the creek.
