I, too, just started amitriptyline - have been in a cluster for just a couple of weeks. However, I decided to try the waterx3 thing, and the headaches appear to have stopped. I have been pain free for two and a half days, and think it was the water that did it. I only started the amitriptyline last night, and had started the water the morning of the day before. We're hoping the amitriptyline will keep another cluster from starting.
I know how you felt when you found this site - it's such a relief to know you aren't alone. After nearly 40 years of them, I was in tears from the joy of having someone to talk to who could really understand. I hope the amitriptyline works for you. I started these things when I was your age and sometimes feel they have stolen most of my life. I don't want that for you or for anyone. Blessings on you.
