I never got the chance to use oxygen because my doctor wanted me to go to the ER to try it the first time. By the time I got to ER and was back to see a doctor, the attack was over. I have found imitrex injections work best for me to abort a headache. Prednisone usually works well to break the cycle, but when taking it I can't stop abruptly or the HA's come back. I have to taper off a little at a time.
