I was left handed. Lucky me, in my year kindergarten, the state or whomever decided to experiment that year with training south paws to be right handed. We were "NOT ALLOWED" to write, play instruments, draw or anything else with our left hands. There were three of us in the class. My mother is convinced that it totally messed up my psyche. It is her believe that people are one handed or the other for very personal reasons in their own ids. I love my mother. I still have a hard time remembering which hand to use for any number of exercises such as picking up my kids dirty clothes. I get stumped sometimes. The school kept watch over us through the 6th grade. I took up the cello in 4th and was considered a prodigy. As I look back on it I believe the reason I couldn't stay with it had a lot to do with the utter confusion as to how to make my mind follow what hand I was suppose to use. I used to get headaches during school but they were thought to be migraine or tension. Do ya think maybe they would have been tense if they were made to use the wrong hand? So, I was right minded and left-handed and then right/no left/no maybe right/ no maybe, oh crap I give up something
minded and whatever handed. The left/right theororists can have a hay day with this.
