I was chronic for the first five years. Now I get attacked several times EVERY day when in a cycle. I think (therefore, I am right) that the only difference between chronic and episodic is the pain free time between attacks. Okay--DUH!, but...the same reason the pain recedes between attacks is the same, be that hiatus three hours or three years. Why is Drummer chronic? Because (fill in the blank). :-)
