My headaches started at age 17, too. The only difference was it took me ten years and too many doctors and too many wrong diagnosis to come out with my answers. For me, butalbital work great. Oxygen works quickest, but they seem to come back within about 3 to 4 hours, but will knock out the pain in <10 minutes!!! Cafergot also work well at first, but seems to be less effective as you take it. Good luck!
