Dave, If you suffer from clusters in the fall like I do, something that may be worth looking into is full-spectrum lighting. I've been a sufferer for 27 years, with 95% of the cluster
cycles beginning in the fall months. I've been using the "lights" every morning since Oct. of 99. The idea is to lengthen my daylight hrs.
to 11.5 to 12 per day (as is during summer months) I usually get up about 4:30 a.m., sit in front of the lights until sunrise and then go about my day!! So far, so GOOD!!
I've come to understand that it will take more than one "interrupted" cycle to give any credit to this "light therapy". In other words, I need
2-3 years of no cycles in the fall to claim victory!! Something has changed the course of my clusters, and it could be any # of things. I'm choosing to believe it's the lights. Unfortunately, this won't help everybody, but it's sure worth a try for episodic, seasonal sufferers!! I found this idea on the following website....www.sleeptalk.com/paul/cluster.htm
It's worth the read!!
BTW, I'm "drug-free" and lovin' it!! The best of luck to you, Rose e-mail---Drmjc5@aol
