there is a pretty well-known "weightlifter's headache" syndrome, my son got nailed by one right after a very strenuous workout a couple years back, that dropped him like a bag of rocks - and he's a TOUGH son-of-a-gun (was our state HS wrestling champ, for starters)- they did the whole test # on him, including a spinal tap to rule out burst aneurism ....
the spinal tap got his attention, and he's kept his workouts down to at least 1/2 reasonable, and no more trouble
