Since everyone has been kinda quiet for a couple of days, I'll see if I can stimulate some conversation...
The "new" me (the Depakote free/mood swing free/attitude free/fatigue free/stomach ache free...chipper me) would like to let you know that I did enough sweet talking to my doc yesterday to end up with a 14 day supply of Diflucan!!! YIPPIE!!!
I think it's absolutely wonderful that my doctor was open minded enough to realize that although Diflucan isn't a typical headache treatment, the "pros" definately outweighed the "cons" in giving it a shot. I mean lets be real, if it doesn't happen to work, what have I lost? NOTHING! I'm very curious to see what happens!
I got 14 150mg tablets instead of 200mg or 250mg tablets because the pharmacy that I got them from would have had to special order them. I think the pharmacy rounded up all of the 150mg samples from all of the doctors in the office just to come up with what we did! I just couldn't wait for the special order to come in.
The dude behind the counter did a 'double take' and then looked at me kinda funny when he handed me the pretty pink box full of yeast infection pills...it made me giggle...
