No difference, except the time that it happens, and the trigger.
I've had migranes that made me take a bottle of valium to "end it".
Had tension headaches that happen in bursts, in which I couldn't
sit down, and thrashed about, also had very mild headaches of the two.
The point is, CH is not a "special" kind of headache. it's merely
a bad headache that happens periodically and in bursts. You have to
find out how it starts, every headache starts differently. Sometimes
for me it's something i ate, to much computer, too much sun, hurt back,
too much perfume, or hormonal changes. If you don't find out what
it's from you'll never find "your cure" because many many things can
cause a headache and the doctor will only be able to treat the pain.
Not prevent the headache, only you can do that.
Also bad mattress that you sleep on can be bad for headaches.
