For those who weren't around when I discovered it, my office chair is a high-backed type with a star shaped wooden base with casters. It rocks, and there's a spring that controls the rocking tension.

I've found that if I lay on the floor and prop my head on part of the base, I can rock the chair back with both hands. When I let go, the bottom of the seat clamps down on my head in just the right spot to ease the pain of a bad CH. I can even reach back and twist the spring tension to make it chomp down harder or slacken up as needed. It's mighty good for those horrible 10 minutes waiting for the oxygen or imitrex to kick in...

It's a La Z Boy style #092163 if you want to run out and buy one. It appears to fit a wide range of head sizes (based on how far I have to rock it to fit my noggin in).

PFD's all,

Goober Dave
